A ROAD in Cowley is shut due to a burst water pipe.
Firefighters and police have closed Rymers Lane in all directions.
A spokesman for Thames Water said: “We reacted quickly to reports of a burst pipe on Rymers Lane, Cowley. We’ve stopped the flow of water through the pipe meaning no properties were flooded, and have now closed off the road to complete the repair.

“We’re sorry for any disruption caused, and we’re working hard to get everything back to normal as quickly as possible.”
They added that they are not sure how long repair work will take as the road has been damaged, but it should be finished over the weekend.
Residents' access will be maintained.
