WE HAD a deluge of funny signs, stark warnings, brightly coloured notices and faded markings for this week's 'signs' theme.
The impressive collection spanned a variety of geographical locations but the one we kept returning to stuck a little closer to home.
Oxford Mail Camera Club member Darrell Godliman has captured the peeling paint on a closed mechanics workshop in Jericho in his winning image.
We love the vivid orange slowly being eroded to the original grey underneath and the texture it gives the image.
Mr Godliman took the image before the building was redeveloped.
Next week's theme is shadows and we have already had a flurry of impressive early submissions.
