Ferry faces hunt charge

COUNTRYSIDE campaigner Otis Ferry has been charged with attacking and robbing two hunt saboteurs who were trying to film him at his sport.
The 25-year-old son of rock star Bryan Ferry is alleged to have pulled a video camera from the hands of two women during the hunt in Gloucestershire.
The women were monitoring potential breaches of the ban and gathering video evidence when the incident occurred last November.
Officers arrested Ferry at his Shrewsbury home the following day.
He had been riding with the Heythrop Hunt, who are thought to have crossed the border into Gloucestershire.
A Gloucestershire Police spokesman said today: "We can confirm that a 25-year-old man from Shrewsbury, in Shropshire, has been charged with robbery and common assault.
"He will appear before Cheltenham Magistrates' Court on May 7. This follows an incident in Lower Swell, Gloucestershire, in November last year."
