The rate at which house prices are falling in Oxfordshire is accelerating quickly, according to official figures produced today.
Statistics produced by the Land Registry show the average price of a house in Oxfordshire in November was £232,455 compared with £253,665 for the same month last year — a drop of £21,210 or 8.4 per cent.
Prices also dropped month-on-month from October to November by 1.9 per cent, shaving £4,576 off the price of the average property.
Nationally, average prices dropped by 12.2 per cent to stand at £161,883.
