A flood watch is also in place for the Thames and its tributaries in the Oxford area.
A flood watch also remains in place on the River Thame and Chalgrove Brook.
The alert covers the river from Marsworth to Shillingford including Long Marston, Rowsham, Cuddington, Thame, Shabbington, Ickford, Waterperry, Wheatley, Drayton St Leonard and Dorchester, and also the Chalgrove Brook at Chalgrove and Stadhampton.
A flood watch warning indicates that low-lying land and roads could be flooded.
