THE first batch of British troops to return from bases in Germany will come to Dalton Barracks in Abingdon.
Hundreds of troops are to come home by January and half of the 20,000 UK troops there will be back by 2015 and the rest by 2020.
The first unit back will be 43 Close Support Squadron of the Royal Logistics Corps which will move to Oxfordshire from Gutersloh.
