BARTON residents are having a wheely good time at new exercise bike classes.

An cycling studio has been set up at Oxford City Council’s Barton Leisure Centre with classes on Tuesdays to Thursdays and Saturdays and Sundays.

Van Coulter, council board member for leisure services, said: “I would encourage the local community to come and use it and take part in the sessions.”

Classes are £5.60 for adults and £3.80 concessions.

Managers at the Waynflete Road centre have set up a group for teenagers and are to add a class for the over 50s.

? Save the money from Twenty classes, you could buy a cheap but new bike, get some fresh air, fitter, play run the red light and pavement hopping..
