Festival reaches its finale
12:10pm Monday 14th May 2012 in News
Musicians descended on Witney as the town’s music festival came to a close with an eclectic mix of genres and performers.
St Mary’s Church, in Church Green, was one of the venues where singers and bands performed at the weekend.
Witney’s Alex Falconer, 40, who performed on Saturday, said: “I was playing acoustic guitar and singing Crosby, Stills and Nash and Ryan Adams covers.
“It was fairly busy and the crowd enjoyed it. There was a variety of people and different levels, so it was quite eclectic.”
Shows began at the start of the month and have taken in various venues, including Eynsham’s Red Lion pub and the Langdale Hall in Witney.
