1,600 homes hit by blackout in Cumnor area

Engineers are working to restore power to 1,600 homes around Cumnor, Fyfield and Farmoor after a fault.
The power went out at about 5pm and Southern Electric engineers arrived on site at about 5.30pm to establish the cause.
Spokesman Hannah Gleave said: “We would like to apologise to customers experience a loss of power.”
She said an update is expected at about 8pm and residents could call 08000 727282 for more information.
