PEOPLE convicted of offences at magistrates'courts around the county:

Thomas Fletcher, 22, of Eastfields, Blewbury, admitted possessing cannabis (Class B) in Didcot on January 13. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £85 costs.

Louise Frances, 45, of Boundary Brook Road, Oxford, admitted driving without insurance and drink driving in Pembroke Street, Oxford, on February 11. Had 83 milligrams of alcohol in 100ml of blood, above the legal limit of 80 milligrams. Fined £110, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £50 costs. Banned from driving for a year.

Stephen Godfrey, 39, of North Road, Didcot, admitted criminally damaging two car tyres in Didcot on October 4. Fined £150, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Also told to pay £184.94 compensation.

Michael Presley, 18, of Sinodun Road, Didcot, admitted assault by beating in Didcot on August 6. Given 12 months’ supervision and 150 hours’ unpaid work. Told to pay £50 compensation and £300 costs.

Syed Haque, 26, of Masons Road, Oxford, admitted possessing cannabis (Class B) in Oxford on January 6. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and £85 costs.

Martin Judd, 25, of Corunna Crescent, Oxford, admitted shoplifting a sandwich, a packet of crisps and a packet of chocolate sweets valued at £3.60 from Boots in Oxford on December 16 and shoplifting various food and drink valued at £6.51 from Sainsbury’s in Oxford on May 9. Fined £160, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Andrew Green, 40, of no fixed address, admitted burglary of a garage in East Street, Didcot, and theft from a motor vehicle in Didcot on December 19. Jailed for 18 weeks.

Liarna Benwell, 24, of Chequers Place, Cholsey, admitted making a false statement for the purpose of obtaining benefit on July 22, 2010. Failed to declare she was maintaining a common household with her husband. Given an 18-month conditional discharge and told to pay £85 costs.

Tony Jordan, 49, of High Cross Way, Oxford, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Cornmarket Street, Oxford, on December 29. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £200 costs.

Stephen Locke, 54, of Cuddesdon Road, Horspath, admitted drink driving in Jackies Lane, Wheatley, on March 17. Had 120 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of blood, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £2,000, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 30 months.

Stephen Tuchscherer, 47, of Fleet Way, Didcot, admitted drink driving in Norreys Road, Didcot, on March 18. Had 87 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £1,000, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 40 months.

Jack Titcomb, 23, of Herschel Crescent, Oxford, admitted possessing cannabis (Class B) in Oxford on December 18. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay £85 costs.

Sarah Hopgood, 27, of Meadow Bank, Faringdon, convicted of assault by beating in Faringdon on September 13. Given an 18-week jail term, suspended for a year, with 12 months’ supervision and a three-month curfew. Also told to pay £250 costs.

Zoe McNab, 36, of Clements Way, Faringdon, convicted of assault by beating in Faringdon on September 13 and commission of a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge. Given a 16-week jail term, suspended for a year, with 12 months’ supervision and a three-month curfew. Also told to pay £250 costs.

Alan Jackson-Smyth, 59, of Crewherne Road, Chard, Somerset, admitted failing to keep a dangerous dog under control in East Hagbourne on September 21. Told to pay £85 costs and keep the dog muzzled and on a lead.

Adam Freeman, 27, of Oliffe Close, Aylesbury, admitted shoplifting a Lyle and Scott scarf valued at £29.95 from Austins of Thame on January 20 and failing to surrender to court bail on May 8. Told to pay £100 costs and £29.95 compensation.

Jason Galvin, 40, of Phipps Road, Oxford, admitted assault by beating in Oxford on March 3. Told to attend the community domestic-violence programme for 36 days and given two years’ supervision. Told to pay £85 costs.

Kenneth Webb, 63, of Tring Road, Aylesbury, admitted assault by beating in Thame on November 12. Fined £200, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £80 costs.

Michael Kearney, 42, of Lenthall Road, Oxford, convicted of criminally damaging a glass panel in a door at O’Neill’s pub in Oxford on January 5. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £200 compensation and £100 costs.

Ashley Hunt, 47, of Eaton, Abingdon, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause a fear of unlawful violence in Long Wittenham on August 24. Given supervision and told to complete a restorative justice requirement. Also told to pay £100 compensation and £200 costs.

Leonard Butler, 36, of Clare Road, Staines, Middlesex, admitted burglary of a mobile home at Shellingford Quarry between September 2 and 5. Given a 23-week jail term, suspended for a year, with 240 hours’ unpaid work. Told to pay £330 compensation and £250 costs.

Hortencio Carvalho, 22, of Mortimer Drive, Marston, admitted sexual assault and assault by beating in Oxford on August 1. Given a three-month curfew and told to pay £400 costs.

Gary Bowyer, 42, of Ringwood Road, Headington, admitted being over the drink drive limit in Ringwood Road. Had 94 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, above the legal limit of 80 milligrams. Ordered to carry out 55 hours unpaid work and told to pay £200 costs. Disqualified from driving for 24 months, reduced by six months if a course is attended.

Leam Warren, 19, of Bath Road, Banbury, admitted possessing cannabis in Banbury on March 3. Given a six month conditional discharge and told to pay £40 costs.

Hayden Baker, 22, of Hemingway Drive, Bicester, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress on April 14 in Bicester. Fined £225, told to pay victim surcharge of £15 and £85 prosecution costs.

Stuart Grainge, 32, of Keble Road, Bicester, admitted using the internet without security filtering in breach of a sexual offences prevention order on May 4 in Bicester. Fined £250, told to pay victim surcharge of £15 and £85 prosecution costs and to forfeit any mobile to police.
