Social club for retired seeks new members

A social club for retired people in and around Wantage is looking for new members to help it celebrate its 20th birthday next year.
Wantage Association of Retired Persons (WARP) is for those over 50 and it also takes members from Abingdon and Didcot.
Its meetings at Wantage Civic Hall on the first Wednesday of each month at 2pm include a presentation, refreshments and a raffle.
It also meets up for monthly pub lunches and occasionally coach outings and holidays.
This month’s meeting will take place at 2.30pm on with a presentation on Windsor Castle and the Jubilee.
