Play area hope

A children’s play area could be created next to Marriotts Walk shopping centre if district council land is transferred to the town council.

The plan will be put before West Oxfordshire District Council ’s cabinet for a decision on Wednesday.

Witney Town Council has said it will adopt the land at Unterhaching Park if the district council contributes £5,500.
