A teenager who was badly injured in a violent attack was last night still in a stable but improving condition in hospital, police said.
Jamie Busby , 19, of Aston, near Bampton, suffered serious head injuries during the incident, in Corn Street, Witney, at 1.30am on Saturday.
Police arrested a 24-year-old man on Saturday on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
The man was due to answer bail yesterday and police are expected to release more information today.
