Beau the boa is back in her tank

BEAU the escaped boa constrictor was last night safely back in her tank.

The 8.5ft snake went missing in Sandford-on-Thames last week but was found safe and well in her next door neighbour’s garden.

The four-year-old creature went missing last Tuesday from owner Rob Davies’ ground floor flat in Church Road.

She was found on Friday in the neighbouring garden, wrapped tightly around a bush.

The neighbour contacted the RSPCA and police and officers were able to remove Beau and place her back in her vivarium.

Mr Davies, 26, yesterday said: “I am ecstatic she is back and she is fit and healthy.

“It is a lesson learnt and we have got another tank on order with a more secure lock.”
