CROWDS will be ‘keeping it local’ at Oxford Castle ’s two-day festival this weekend. The event will combine food and drink, arts and crafts, performances and wine tasting.
Gordon Piggott, of McCarthy’s fruit and veg in the Covered Market, said: “It’s great because it’s local.”
Event organiser Sarah Mayhew said: “We’re really keen to encourage people to explore the site, enjoy some English wine in Malmaison, sip some Champagne in the Key Learning Centre, snack on a sausage from The Big Bang, and ultimately soak up a beautiful bit of Oxford.”
