Care service jobs created
12:20pm Friday 14th September 2012 in News
UP TO 30 new jobs are expected to be created in the next year by a new care service in Bicester.
Bicester couple Suzzanne and John Elgar have just been given permission by regulatory authorities to start trading as Bluebird Care (Cherwell).
The firm will provide support and practical help to older people and adults with physical disabilities so they can continue to live in their own homes.
It launched a recruitment drive this week.
To start the business, the couple relocated from Launton to Bicester, to raise the capital to buy the franchise and set up operations in Murdock Road, Bicester
Director Mrs Elgar said: “We have gone into the care industry on the basis of having experience of good care for our grandparents and some very abysmal experiences. We really want to make a difference to the way care is perceived and delivered.”
