Traffic action
11:20am Saturday 15th September 2012 in News
A new stewarding system will be introduced tomorrow at the London Welsh game to help ease traffic problems experienced at the first home match.
Their rugby union clash against Exeter Chiefs at the Kassam Stadium starts at 3pm.
A crowd of 6,850 turned up for the 38-13 defeat to Leicester Tigers on September 1. As fans arrived at the stadium, many were forced to abandon their cars to make it to the game on time and London Welsh later issued an apology.

Wardens are definitely needed to enforce considerate behaviour amongst fans and others, and hopefully persuade them to use public transport next time, thereby spending a bit more time here and putting some money across the bar in town on the way back to the station.

rcement only turn up aferwards to ticket visitors?
Surely they should be acting as ambassadors for our city and directing traffic to suitable parking?
