TV presenter, adventurer and Chief Scout Bear Grylls has opened a new display at Cotswold Wildlife Park.
The enclosure is home to 18 rare species, including the Red Bellied Piranha, Giant Asian Stick Insect and bird-eating Tarantula.
Mr Grylls, star of Born Survivor and Man Vs Wild, opened the attraction at the Burford park on Monday.
Bear said: “It is an amazing and great chance to excite and scare kids in a good way.”
The enclosure is also home to the endangered Axolotl, a salamander only found in a small area on the edge of Mexico City.
