Four accused of Torex fraud

FOUR men accused of fraud involving Torex Retail PLC appeared at court yesterday.

Mark Woodbridge, 41, of Kineton in Warwickshire, has been charged with six counts of false accounting and two counts of conspiracy to defraud.

Robert Loosemore, 46, of Clearwater Place in Oxford, and Christopher Moore, 57, of Hayway Lane in Hook Norton, have been charged with three counts of false accounting and two counts of conspiracy to defraud.

Nigel Horn, 58, of The Avenue in Bourton-on-Water, has been charged with conspiracy to defraud.

Torex Retail PLC, which was based in Witney, went into administration in 2007. The prosecution has been brought by the Serious Fraud Office. The four appeared at Oxford Crown Court yesterday and were bailed until October 26.
