Bridge drama

Traffic was delayed around Frideswide Square yesterday morning after a lorry clipped the Botley Road bridge.

The lorry – heading out the city – stopped under the bridge at about 8.40am and had moved by 9am.

The incident caused major delays in the square and surrounding roads.
