TICKETS have gone on sale for the annual Spirit of Christmas concert at Christ Church Cathedral.
The candle-lit concert on Wednesday, December 5, raises money for the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign, funding groundbreaking research into treatments for muscle-wasting conditions.
The Dragon School Choir will perform. Past performers include Dominic West, Silent Witness star Tom Ward and Imelda Staunton.
Emma Jones-Parry, Muscular Dystrophy Campaign Head of Events, said:
“We are delighted to be back at Christ Church Cathedral for this December’s Spirit of Christmas concert, which promises to be our most stunning event to date.
"We can promise our audience a magical family evening by candle-light – whether you join us to show your support for people with muscle-wasting conditions, or simply to hear some unforgettable music from our performers, you won’t be disappointed.”
“We are coming ever closer to the first treatment for muscle-wasting conditions. This is an opportunity to come along and have a fantastic evening, while helping us to push on with groundbreaking research that could transform thousands of lives.”
Tickets start at £10 but a £40 gold ticket will include priority seating and a post-concert drinks reception with the stars.
