Bridge woman is talked down

A woman was safely talked down from a bridge yesterday morning.
Police were called at 11.35am to the Marsh Lane bridge over the A40 after members of the public contacted them with fears over the woman’s safety.
The road was closed at the junction, the Banbury Road roundabout junction and from Barton while the incident was dealt with.
The woman, in her 20s, was talked down by police and taken to hospital.
