SARACENS are sweating over the fitness of a handful of players ahead of their penultimate Zurich Premiership game at Newcastle Falcons on Sunday, May 4, kick-off 2.30pm.
Christian Califano (back), Thomas Castaignde (Achilles), Tim Horan (foot and knee), Craig Yandell (leg) are among the list of doubts prior to the clash at Kingston Park where Sarries have not won in six attempts.
"The players know they have got two more games and they have got to front up again this weekend at Newcastle," said head coach Buck Shelford. "We still believe we are in the running for a Wild Card spot.
"So we are going in with a positive frame of mind with regards to winning both our last two games and I believe we are good enough to win both of those games."
