MUCH-NEEDED firefighting equipment was presented to Indonesian Embassy representatives at Watford Fire Station this week after more than six months of tireless fundraising.
The initiative was led by hero Watford firefighter Russell Ward, who helped organise the rescue operation after the terrorist bombing in Bali in October last year. He had been on holiday when the blast hit, killing almost 200 people.
Mr Ward, who won a Pride of Britain Award for his actions, said: "It was a very fulfilling experience."
