LONDON-bound trains were unable to stop at Oxford Station for half an hour tonight because of a woman suffered a fit.
The 25-year-old suffered a fit while travelling on a train, a First Great Western spokesman said. A nurse onboard initially gave first aid before paramedics were called to the train when it stopped at Oxford.
While paramedics gave the woman treatment, other trains were unable to stop at the city station and so carried on through.
The woman was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital.
Initially the information given to the oxford Mail was that it was a child who had been taken unwell.
