Representatives from Guide Dogs for the Blind will be at Sainsbury’s next week.
The charity is seeking people to fundraise for the group or provide homes for puppies. Charity members will be at the Oxford Road supermarket between 10am and 3pm on Friday. For details, contact Penny Hefferen on 0845 3727344.

Am I not wrong in thinking the guide dogs for the blind have in excess of five years of funding cash in the bank? Last time I spoke to someone who knows there finances they could simply stop raising cash and still service there dogs for over five years, give us a break from scrounging.

And depending on your network and contract/PAYG the call will cost you between 20 and 40p per minute. Not a bad earner for them, and what a scam to those that want to help.
