The number of people listening to BBC Radio Oxford shot up during the last quarter, according to listening figures released yesterday.
In the quarter ending Sunday, December 16, a weekly average of 81,000 people tuned into BBC Radio Oxford – 19,000 more than in the previous quarter.
Jack FM’s listening figures dropped marginally by 1,000 to 54,000, while there was the same drop for Glide FM which was listened to by 17,000 people on average each week.
Heart Thames Valley also saw its listeners drop by the same amount to 387,000.
The figures were released by monitoring organisation Radio Joint Audience Research (RAJAR).
