Two men arrested over canal sex attack
Two men have been arrested over a sex attack on a 19-year-old woman in the early hours yesterday.
The men, aged 23 and 32, were arrested following the assault in a wooded area near the Oxford Canal, close to Hythe Bridge Street, at 2.30am.
Det Sgt Simon Hannam said: “We would urge anyone who was out in this part of Oxford, and particularly anyone around The Bridge nightclub in the early hours, to please contact us if they saw two males walking with a female along the canal at the time of the incident.”
