A SIX-year-old boy had died 10 days after a road accident in Watchfield. 

Police have said the boy,  who is from Faringdon,  died this morning at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.

The boy was injured In a collision with a white Audi Q5 at about 8.20am on February 5 in Faringdon Road, seconds after getting off a bus. 

The vehicle stopped at the scene.

Police are re-appealing for witnesses to thecrash. 

Sgt Ashley Hannibal, from Thames Valley Police’s Road Death Investigation Team, said: “Sadly this child has now died and I am appealing for anyone who saw the collision and anyone who saw the events directly leading up to the collision to come forward.

“There were a number of people on the bus in the vicinity who may have witnessed the incident. Perhaps they did not release how serious it was at the time and I ask that they now come forward and speak to an officer about what they saw.”
