A WOMAN was punched seven times and sexually assaulted in the Plush Lounge.
She was admitted to the John Radcliffe Hospital with a broken nose and injuries to her chin and face.
The victim, in her 20s, was attacked at 2am on Saturday at the nightclub in Park End Street.
Thames Valley Police has today sent out an appeal for witnesses. The attacker is believed to be a man who is approximately 5ft 7in tall with olive skin and dark hair.
Designated investigator Nhlalo Skosana from Oxford CID said: "This incident took place in the dance floor and so people would have seen the female being attacked.
"We are doing everything to catch this offender and so I urge anyone with information to contact us immediately."
