1. Kurt O’Sullivan, 30, of Philcote Street, Deddington, near Banbury, admitted an assault by beating and causing criminal damage to bottles and three glass windows in Church Street, Bodicote, near Banbury, on October 20 last year. Given a 16-week prison sentence because offence was committed while he was subject to a community order, because the assault involved a weapon used against a person carrying out their job and because he had previous similar convictions. Also told to pay £733.60 compensation.
  2. Melissa Conroy, 22, of The Square, Milton-under-Wychwood, admitted drink-driving in Burford Road, Witney, on September 27. Had 75 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Given a 20-month driving ban and fined £250. Also told to pay a £25 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  3. Daniel Wilding, 21, of Bretch Hill, Banbury, admitted stealing three DVDs worth £21 from Morrisons in Banbury on September 11. Also admitted failing to surrender to Banbury Magistrates’ Court on September 29 and committing a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge made on January 8 for theft. Fined £205 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  4. Darius Ogonowski, 35, of Rookery Way, Bicester, admitted an assault by beating, possessing a knife blade or sharp-pointed article in a public place and causing criminal damage to the roof of a Volkswagon Polo on August 30 in Duxford Close, Bicester. Given a 12-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months because the bladed article was likely to cause fear. Ordered to carry out 200 hours of unpaid work and made subject to a supervision requirement. Also told to pay an £80 victims’ surcharge, £85 costs and £250 compensation.
  5. Joshua Chard, 22, of Lock Crescent, Kidlington, admitted drink-driving on September 29 in Freeland, Witney. Had 60 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Also failed to stop after a road accident on the same day in Newport Close, Kidlington. Given a 17-month driving ban and told to pay a £400 fine, a £40 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  6. Annie Newton, 18, of Mawle Court, George Street, Banbury, admitted stealing underwear worth £33.97 from New Look in Banbury on September 17. Also admitted committing a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge made on August 8 by Banbury Magistrates’ Court for nine counts of theft. Community order made with supervision requirement and told to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge.
  7. Paul Baker, 48, of Drayton Road, Sutton Courtenay, near Abingdon, admitted exceeding the 30mph speed limit in Steventon Road, Drayton, Abingdon, on December 6. He was recorded driving at 43mph. Fined £80 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge. Also given three points on his driving licence.
  8. Ben Adderley, 32, of Lower Green, Towersey, Thame, convicted of being the person in whose name a vehicle was registered under when it did not meet legal insurance requirements on January 28 in Thame. Fined £200 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £110 costs.
  9. Wayne Cox, 32, of Benouville Close, Cowley, Oxford, convicted of being the registered keeper of a vehicle while failing to provide the required details of its transfer to a person who was not a vehicle trader on August 6 in Oxford. Fined £200 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £90 costs.
  10. Adam Gurney, 28, of Wellington Street, Oxford, was convicted of keeping an unlicensed vehicle on a public road in Nelson Street, Oxford, on April 23. Fined £400 and told to pay £58.75 vehicle excise back duty and £90 costs.
  11. Erik Berki, 30, of Underhill Circus, Headington, admitted fishing without a licence at Clattercote Reservoir, Banbury, on June 8. Fined £100 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £60 costs.
  12. Emma Craft, 24, of Marjoram Close, Blackbird Leys, Oxford, was convicted of keeping an unlicensed vehicle on a public road in Westbury Crescent, Oxford, on February 18. Fined £200 and told to pay £11.67 vehicle excise back duty and £90 costs.
  13. Maddasar Ilyas, 33, of Portway, Banbury, admitted failing to notify Cherwell District Council between May 21, 2012, and September 15, 2013, as well as between May 28, 2012, and December 1, 2013, of changes in his circumstances which he knew would affect his entitlement to benefits, namely that his wife had started working for Oxfordshire County Council and his earnings had increased. Fined £450 and told to pay a £45 victims’ surcharge and £250 costs.
  14. Ashley King, 21, of Ironstones, Banbury, convicted of two counts of travelling on the railway and failing to hand over his ticket for inspection when asked to do so in Banbury on February 28. Fined £400 and told to pay £14.70 compensation, a £40 victims’ surcharge and £260 costs.
  15. Andrzej Jan Klork, 29, of Westbury Crescent, Oxford, admitted drink-driving in Rose Hill, Oxford, on March 29. Had 62 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Also admitted failing to surrender to Oxford Magistrates’ Court on October 10. Given an 18-month driving ban and told to pay a £500 fine, a £50 victims’ surcharge and £500 costs.
  16. Michael Luxton, 21, of Windrush Close, Witney, admitted possessing cannabis, a Class B drug, on September 17 in Witney. Fined £109 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  17. Ibrar Hussain, 38, of Chetwode, Banbury, admitted an assault which caused actual bodily harm in Banbury on July 20. Community order made with 140-hour unpaid work requirement and told to pay £150 compensation, a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
