Four people have been injured in a four-vehicle accident on the northbound carriageway of the M40 near Bicester.

South Central Ambulance Service said that they were currently assessing and treating four people at the scene, between junction nine for Bicester and 10 for Brackley.

Spokeswomen for SCAS Catherine Morrow said: “The situation is still ongoing and we are still at the scene.

“We received a call at 1.51pm to a road traffic collision involving four cars on the M40 between Junction 10 and nine northbound.

“Staff are currently accessing and treating four patients.

“One patient looks to have minor injuries and three others are being assessed and treated.”
