HOMES in Oxfordshire affected by a power cut have had their electricity restored.
Yesterday about 500 homes in the OX1 central Oxford area and OX12 area in southern Oxfordshire were affected.

Last night there were still 10 homes in southern Oxfordshire without power, and 39 homes in central and South Oxford, Kennington, Boars Hill and New Hinksey affected.
Duncan MacDonald, a spokesman for Southern Electric Power Distribution, said the homes in the OX12 area had power restored by 11.15pm, while the homes in Oxford had power back on by 1.20am.
He added that the problem in the OX12 area was caused by a fault with an overhead line.
“We would like to apologise for the inconvenience the power cut caused,” Mr MacDonald said.
