WINNERS of the Young Enterprise business competition’s county final have their “amazing” teamwork to thank, said the managing director.
The Fleet team from Oxford High School dazzled at the last stage of judging on May 7, and are now preparing to do battle with other brands at the South East regional final on June 16.
Competing with other groups across Oxfordshire, the girls had one academic year to set up and run their own business.
Their jewellery, sourced from a women’s co-operative in Bangladesh, stole the show and away from the competition they have had two orders so far.
Managing director Lauren Rynsburger, 16, said: “We wanted to do something unique that had an ethical element to it.
“The team has been amazing.”
