Low carbon launch
This year’s Low Carbon Oxford Week will be launched today with a celebration at a city “eco park.”
The week will feature more than 80 free events across the city, including festivals, feasts, electric car and bike test drives, workshops and exhibitions.
The annual programme, organised by Oxford City Council for the first time last year, aims to inspire residents to take action against climate change.
The launch event will be held at Hogacre Common off Abingdon Road from 2pm.
