A WOMAN hit a row of taxis in Abingdon town centre yesterday after a “medical episode”.
The crash happened just after 11am in front of the Hodsons estate agents in Ock Street.
Witnesses said the woman driving a blue Ford Focus drove into the back taxi in a row of three.
Sam Third, who lives in the centre of Abingdon, told the Oxford Mail the woman was taken out of her car and put in the back of an ambulance.
Mr Third, 28, a student at Oxford Brookes University, said: “There were three fire engines, four ambulances and a lot of police cars.”
He did not think anyone else had been hurt.
Thames Valley Police said it was called at 11.16am to reports of a collision.
Force spokeswoman Connie Primmer said: “It appears the female driver of one of the vehicles had a medical episode.
“She was taken to hospital with minor injuries.”
She said no one was arrested or reported to police in connection with the incident.
