Men with beards have been gathering today to compete in Oxford’s first ever beard festival.
The event at the James Street Tavern is raising money for Prostate Cancer UK.
A competition for the best beard will take place this evening and live music is being performed throughout the day.
But the occasion is not just for men can attend - there are also prizes up for grabs for beardless people who have designed their own facial hair.
Sue Higgins, 47, and daughter Faith King, 22, planned the event which has so far been described as a great success.
