Michael Rusher, 42, of Kings Close, Letcombe Regis, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards a woman in Market Place, Wantage, on September 6, with intent to cause her to believe that violence would be use against her or to provoke violence against her. Also admitted refusing to leave The Bell Inn in Market Place, Wantage, while drunk or disorderly on the same date. Further admitted destroying glass of an unknown value belonging to The Bell Inn on the same date. Fined a total of £300 and ordered to pay £50 compensation, £20 victim surcharge, and £150 court charge.

Curtis Boyce, 29, of Banbury Court, Vineyard, Abingdon, admitted stealing four packs of bacon and three packs of steak worth £35 from The Co-op in Kennington Road, Kennington, Oxford, on August 17. Also admitted stealing two bottles of vodka worth £38 from the same shop on the same date, jointly with another. Further admitted stealing two bottles of vodka worth £45.98 from the same shop on August 18. Discharged conditionally for 12 months and ordered to pay a total of £99.98 compensation and a £150 criminal courts charge.

David Craggs, 58, of Wheldon Way, Thame, admitted assaulting a woman by beating her in Thame on July 29. Also admitted assaulting a man by beating him in Thame on the same date. Ordered to carry out 60 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months and told to pay a £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs and a £150 criminal courts charge.

Christopher McDonagh, 21, of Mortimer Road, Rose Hill, Oxford, failed without reasonably excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Barkingside Magistrates Court by failing to attend supervision on August 17 and August 20 and failing to keep in touch with the responsible officer by failing to provide evidence about why he had failed to attend. Ordered to pay £50 costs and a £100 criminal courts charge.

Mourad Boualam, 38, of Troy Close, Headington, Oxford, admitted assaulting a woman by beating her in Park End Street, Oxford, on August 17. Conditionally discharged for six months and ordered to pay a £15 victim surcharge, £150 costs and a £150 criminal courts charge.

Zaheeb Ali Bokhari, 18, of Howard Street, Oxford, convicted of driving a vehicle in Cherwell College Car Park, Oxpens Road, without insurance, on November 19. Fined £180 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £300 costs. Driving licence endorsed with six points.

Robert Farquharson, 46, of St John’s Road, Wallingford, admitted failing to provide a specimen for analysis at Abingdon Police station on April 18 having been suspected of driving a vehicle and refusing to provide a breath specimen for analysis. Fined £400 and ordered to pay a £40 victim surcharge, £400 costs and a £150 criminal courts charge. Banned from driving or holding a licence for 12 months. Rickey Barrett, 33, of Bullingdon Road, Oxford, admitted assaulting a woman by beating her in Oxford on February 8. Given a community order with an 18-week curfew between 9pm and 6am and ordered to pay £750 compensation, a £60 victim surcharge and £300 costs.

Kevin Capell, 33, of no fixed address, admitted using threatening or abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress in SGM in Oxford city centre on September 26. Also admitted criminally damaging a cell at Thames Valley Police Station in Abingdon on the same date. Fined £120 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and a £150 criminal courts charge.

Damien Davies, 23, of Barton Village Road, Headington, admitted possessing cannabis, a Class B drug, in Barton Village Road on July 22. Fined £60 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge, £35 costs and a £180 criminal courts charge.

Kelly Webb, 35, of Thornhill Walk, Abingdon, admitted drink-driving in Bath Street, Abingdon, on September 13. Had 86 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, over the 35mcg legal limit. Fined £180 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs and a £150 criminal courts charge. Banned from driving for three years.

Carly Spittle, 25, of St Martin’s Road, Oxford, convicted of assaulting a police constable in the execution of her duty in Crown Street, Oxford, on February 21. Given a community order with 180 hours of unpaid work and ordered to pay £500 compensation, a £60 victim surcharge and £100 costs.

Robert Goodwin, of Old Road, Headington, admitted keeping an unlicensed vehicle on a public road, Magdalen Road, East Oxford, on January 13. Fined £100 and ordered to pay £24.17 vehicle excise back duty and a £20 victim surcharge and £15 costs.

Robin Prowse, 69, of Hill View, Kingston Lisle, near Wantage, admitted assaulting a woman by beating her at SGM in Wantage on September 26. Fined £100 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge, £85 costs and a £150 criminal courts charge.

Amy Thorpe, 29, of no fixed address, admitted stealing £10.48 worth of alcohol from Tesco in London Road, Headington, on September 13. Also admitted stealing household goods and alcohol worth a total of £278.89 from Tesco in Abingdon Road, Oxford, on the same day. Given a community order requiring participating in 20 days of rehabilitation activity and ordered to pay a £60 victim surcharge and a £180 criminal courts charge.

Annette Powell, 50, and Robin Powell, 53, of Weymann Terrace, Oxford, admitted failing to ensure their daughter went to school between March 2 and July 10. Each given a nine-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a total of £30 in victim surcharges, £120 in costs and a total of £300 in criminal courts charges.
