Oxford

Colin St Clair, 77, of Manor Road, Wantage, convicted of speeding at 54mph in a 30mph zone in Reading Road, Cholsey, on October 16. Fined £440 and ordered to pay a £44 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Driving licence endorsed with six points.

Paul Valentine, 52, of Batts Row, Main Road, Curbridge, Witney, convicted of speeding at 36ph in a 30mph zone in Bampton Road, Curbridge, on July 30, 2015. Fined £220 and ordered to pay a £22 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Driving licence endorsed with three points.

Izlinda Baharom, 39, of Derwent Avenue, Oxford, admitted speeding at 37mph in a 20mph zone in St Giles, Oxford, on April 22. Fined £330 and ordered to pay a £33 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Driving licence endorsed with five points.

James Bailey, 35, of Upper Field, Chinnor, admitted speeding at 40mph in a 30mph zone in Stratford Road, Buckingham, on January 8. Fined £220 and ordered to pay a £22 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Driving licence endorsed with three points.

Jake Geerthsen, 25, of Ivy Close, Harwell, admitted drink-driving in Heyford Hill roundabout and Sainsbury’s car park in Heyford Hill, Oxford, on July 29. Had 77 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £300 and ordered to pay a £30 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving or holding a licence for 20 months.

Katrina Honour, 26, of Iffley Road, Oxford, admitted assaulting a person at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Headley Road, Oxford, on February 3. Discharged conditionally for 12 months and ordered to pay £250 compensation, a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. 

Sean Keaney, 25, of Outram Road, Oxford, admitted assaulting a man in Cornmarket Street, Oxford, on July 28 and committing a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence. Jailed for a total of 10 weeks and ordered to pay £200 compensation, a £115 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Neil McMahon, 27, of Ferry Hinksey Road, Oxford, admitted assaulting a man by beating him in Cornmarket Street on July 28. Jailed for eight weeks and ordered to pay £100 compensation, a £115 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Bradley Davis, 44, of Leacroft, Wootton, convicted of assaulting a man in Bridge Street, Abingdon, on February 17. Sentenced to 26 weeks in prison suspended for two years and ordered to carry out 150 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months. Ordered to pay £1,000 compensation, an £80 victims’ surcharge and £770 costs.

Laura Vaulter, 28, of no fixed abode, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place in Walton Street on July 28. Discharged conditionally for six months and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. 

Kyle Green, 20, of Mendip Heights, Didcot, admitted failing to take an assessment test for Class A drugs in Didcot on July 6, after a previous sample showed evidence of cocaine, a Class A drug. Fined £100 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Luke Berry, 28, of Taylor Close, Faringdon, admitted assaulting a woman by beating her in Faringdon on June 26. Also admitted criminally damaging a car belonging to the woman on the same date. Sent to prison for 16 weeks and ordered to pay a £115 victim surcharge.

Graham Lewis, 56, of Milton Road, Cowley, was convicted of affray at the Kassam Stadium in Oxford, specifically making threats of unlawful violence towards another person on February 2. Ordered to do 250 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months and pay an £85 victim surcharge and £240 costs. Also given a four-year football banning order: not to go to the Kassam Stadium or any stadium where Oxford United are playing within three hours of a football match there and not to go into Oxford City Centre in the same times.

Banbury

Patrick Broderick, 45, of Paradise Street, Oxford, admitted going into Banbury town centre on July 2 after being banned from doing so. Also admitted failing to answer bail at Banbury Magistrates' Court on July 22. Given a 12-month conditional discharge, fined £50 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £45 costs.

Andrew Fletcher, 38, of The Slade, Oxford, admitted stealing £60 worth of meat from the Co-op in Northfield Farm Lane, Witney, on August 3, 2015, and stealing £65.09 worth of meat from the same shop on the next day. Six other offences were also admitted and taken into consideration. Ordered to pay £200 compensation and a £50 victim surcharge.

Igor Lavrinovics, 32, of Hart Place, Bicester, admitted stealing an SD card worth £20 from Sainsbury's in Bicester on July 23. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge.

Juliet Cavanagh, 62, of Lyneham Road, Bicester, admitted failing to provide police with a specimen of breath for analysis at Abingdon Police Station on July 26. Fined £140, ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs and banned from driving for 36 months.

Shaun Smith, 27, of no fixed address, admitted assaulting Kerrie Hutt by beating her in Witney on June 29. Given a six-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months and ordered to pay a £115 victim surcharge and £105 costs.

Paul Clarke, 34, of Barwood Court, Rotary Way, Banbury, admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with supervision requirements imposed following his release from prison between July 1 and July 6. Fined £35.
