A 35-year-old man died after being stabbed ‘multiple times’ in his chest and abdomen, an inquest heard.
Oxfordshire coroner Darren Salter opened an inquest this afternoon into the death of Domingos Ramalho, of Wharton Road, Headington, Oxford, who died on February 14 in the John Radcliffe Hospital.
Mr Ramalho was found in Windmill Road, Headington, with stab wounds the day before his death.
The Unipart worker was taken into theatre but died after his condition deteriorated while he was in intensive care.
Mr Salter said a date had not been set for the inquest into the ‘tragic case’.
Members of Mr Ramalho's family and friends paid tribute to him.
