Man charged after Didcot assault

A 42-year-old man has been charged following an assault in Didcot on Wednesday.
John Harrison, from Park Close, Didcot, has been charged with causing Grievous Bodily Harm following the incident in Park Close at about 6.20am.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
The victim, a 50-year-old man, remains in intensive care at the John Radcliffe Hospital.
