MIA Collinson joined friends for an Olympics-inspired trawl through Oxford’s Museum of Natural History .

The museum is inviting youngsters to take on sport-themed challenges such as holding their breath like top divers and guessing the weight of an elephant to mark the weightlifting contests. And the winners get medal stickers to mark their achievements.

Mia, who goes to John Hampden Primary School in Thame, also had a go at a children’s archery game at the Parks Road museum.

The seven-year-old said: “I won it because I got in the yellow, I was very happy.”

The Olympic Adventure Trail runs until Monday, September 3.
