Teenage stab attacker can be named
10:40am Thursday 23rd August 2012 in News By Thom Airs
AN OXFORD teenager who stabbed a 62-year-old man on his Headington doorstep can be named for the first time today.
John Clark was left with a punctured lung after the attack in Valentia Road on November 18.
His attackers, aged 15 and 17 at the time of sentencing in June, could not be named after Judge Mary Jane Mowat declined the Oxford Mail’s application to lift their anonymity.
The elder boy, Callum Ochiela, of Chatham Road, South Oxford, is 18 today and can now be identified.
He admitted aggravated burglary and was sent to a young offenders institution for three years.
