TWO artists from Perm, Oxford’s Russian twin city, are showing their work in a new exhibition at the Old Fire Station art gallery.

Ceramic artists Inna Rogova and Natalya Korchemkina created new work to exhibit at the George Street venue in the show called Searching for a Face.

The exhibition, which started on Friday and runs until Friday, September 28, has been organised with the help of the Oxford Perm Association.

As part of the show, the artists hosted a talk on Tuesday night to outline the way their artwork has gained international recognition over the years.

The Oxford Perm twinning link was officially recognised in December 2004 by Oxford City Council .

Twinning activities began in 1990 as exchanges between university teachers and students, and co-operation between voluntary groups in Oxford and Perm.
