The father of eight-year-old stabbing victim Mylee Billingham is due to appear in court charged with her murder.
William Billingham, 54, is also accused of making threats to kill Mylee’s mother in Brownhills, near Walsall, on January 20.
Mylee was pronounced dead in hospital after being found with knife wounds at her father’s bungalow on Valley View at around 9.15pm.
Billingham is set to appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court later after being remanded in custody by magistrates in Walsall on Tuesday.
