Sir - You are right to condemn RWE npower's heavy tactics at Radley. If you or I went round dressed like illegal paramilitaries we should be banged up without trial as terror suspects. The only thing which will alter their behaviour is the threat of loss of revenue.

We have bought our electricity from npower for many years since the company was formed and have had no problems with them. We switched to their Juice option, believing it to be greener.

We are constantly pestered by other power companies offering us fourpence off. Are there any power suppliers who are genuinely environmentally friendly, or at least less nasty than npower?

Please tell us, so we can switch to them. How about a road sign saying "Welcome to Oxfordshire: twinned with Mordor: sponsored by npower"?
