Card payment ideal
Sir – Now that the charge for two hours’ parking in St Giles has reached the extortionate level of £5, will the council give serious consideration to providing facilities so that it can be paid by credit card?
It is not always convenient to have such a sum available in cash. Furthermore, a machine that has contactless payment facilities would be ideal.
