A woman who died in a crash in Abingdon yesterday morning has been named locally as 68-year-old Janet Haggerty.
She was injured in a collision between her bicycle and a silver Ford Escort in Preston Road and died later, at Oxford’s John Radcliffe Hospital, from her injuries Mrs Haggerty is believed to be a mother-of-two and lived at Stonehill Walk, near where the incident happened.
Neighbours said she will be badly missed by everyone who knew her.
