Lib Dems hold seat in council by-election
THE Lib Dems held their seat in the Abingdon Dunmore ward in Thursday’s Vale of White Horse District Council by-election.
Margaret Crick won with 745 votes after the resignation of Julia Bricknell, who moved out of the area for work reasons.
Conservative candidate Andy Todd came second while UKIP came third and Labour came last. Turnout was 38 per cent.
