A PENSIONER died after colliding with a car, an inquest opening heard today.
Retired further education teacher Muriel Fraser, 81, from Marcham, was killed after a crash on the A4183 Oxford Road, at Lodge Hill, Abingdon, on November 26.
At Oxfordshire Coroner's Court today, assistant coroner Nicholas Graham read a report from coroner’s officer David Freeman that said Mrs Fraser had parked her car and was crossing the road to catch a bus when she collided with another car.
He added: “There was little street light and a high volume of rush hour traffic.”
A provisional inquest date has been set for Thursday, May 14 2015.
